First played in Meghauli, Nepal, Elephant Polo is today practiced and played in India, Sri Lanka, England, Nepal and Thailand. In fact, Jaipur in India is the only place in the world where Elephant Polo is played all around the year. The game’s headquarter is in Tiger Tops, Nepal, which also doubles up as the venue for the World Elephant Polo Championship. The game’s rules are few and simple to understand and played with a lot of caution and extreme safety measures are advised.
