The Rann Utsav, organised by the State Tourism Department every year to promote tourism in Gujarat, is being held in Dhardo region of the Kutch district. The major attractions during this year’s festival are camel-safari, hot air ballooning, desert car rally, horse ride, all-terrain vehicle and food court in addition to the folk shows and performances to bring out the varied hue of vibrant Runn of Kutch region during the Rann Utsav 2011. The Rann Utsav Tour Packages which could last from 2 to 3 days will include destination around Bhuj. In the course of their itinerary, guests will be taken to Dhorado (White Runn), Hodko, Bhirandiyara and Ludiya village with an option to tour either Indo-Pak Border of Mandvi Beach Tour.
